Social Media:  A new survey shows that Gen Z and Millennials use Instagram most frequently, while Gen X and Boomers still use Facebook most often. 45% of the consumers surveyed have taken a “social media detox” in the past six months, and 51% plan to this year.

Television:  One of the former leaders of MTV sees a new need for TV that gives viewers information about music. Andy Schuon picked much of the music that was seen on the network in the 1990s, and now he is helping to craft a TV venture that will host a new daily schedule of programs about music, as well as concerts.

PPC: Google is phasing out the ‘infinite scroll’ on its search results that it introduced in 2021, as it begins to incorporate more AI-driven search results. This may change the pay-per-click behavior and ad placement style that users and marketers have grown accustomed to.
