Social Media:  The International Olympic Committee has partially relaxed their social media rules, but still maintain many tight restrictions on what the competing athletes and accredited individuals are allowed to post on their feeds in this year’s Summer Games.

Television:  Primetime on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox accounted for 261.9 billion ad impressions and generated $3.97 billion of the $22.2 billion in ad spending across linear TV. These impressions were up 2.62% from a year ago during the writers and actors unions strike, and now account for 26% of all national linear TV ad impressions.

PPC: Advertisers are reacting to Google’s announcement that they will NOT be deprecating third-party cookies. Some point out that the Google Ads ecosystem is so dependent on data from cookies it has always been hard to imagine how the platform as we know it could function without it.
